DIY T SHIRT CUTTING- Simple Weave

hi guys this is Emily with ink stirring
today Cristina and I are going to show
you how to credit t-shirt this is a
really cool simple no sew way to do this
project our second design is going to be
a simple loop here's what you'll need
your t-shirt some chalk a ruler and some
fabric scissors step 1
turn your t-shirt inside out then you
want to measure where you want your cuts
to go this depends on how far down you
want your loops also measure across your
shirt and decide how wide you want your
weaving stretch so why do you start the
better and the longer the shirt the
further down you want to cut with this
one we're going to go all the way to the
bottom step two use your tag as
reference to make a fold down the center
of your shirt make sure to get those
wrinkles out remember also to separate
the front side and the back side of your
shirt since you only want to cut the
back step three now you're ready to make
your first cut this is going to be your
longest cut longer scissors would be
helpful here continue your cuts down and
follow the curve all the way to the
bottom this may be time-consuming but
you can power through step 4 flatten out
your shirt and tug it your ends to make
them thin and round almost like
shoelaces step 5
when you start looping you will need
something to hold your shirt in place
you can use some table Clips or have a
friend help you you can also use
mannequin with or without a horse head
step 6
to make your weavings first make a loop
and twist there using two fingers then
pull the next string into that loop and
twist again continue this until you
reach your last cut step 7 once you've
completed your loops you will want to
not your ends to do this cut your loop
in half and pull the two ends up through
the last loop make your knot and then
double knot it tighten it as much as you
can and then clip the ends off from this
point you have multiple options cut the
sleeves off roll them up cut the neck
whatever you'd like your own enough to
make your own decisions
