SHOULD I GO WITH CUSTOM INK - FOR MY T-SHIRTS - CLOTHING LINE

boom hey Internet got a good one from
San Martel and this one's easy Sam what
if Michael Sam messaged me actually he
left a message on one of the videos and
said what are my thoughts on custom ink
so custom ink dot-com they also do a lot
of they put a lot of money in
advertising and commercials and if you
don't know my channel I owned a screen
printing operation where we did
high-volume screen printing in Vista
California I no longer do but I at a cusotm your shirts no minimum
different point in my career I was an
art director for a screen printing shop
you know I've been doing apparel for 15
years so only say all of that to qualify
as I'm answering this question do not go
with custom ink like or I would not go
with custom ink their prices are
outrageous they're outrageously high and
I mean I'm not picking on them I think
they have a a mate if you work for
custom ink shout-out to custom ink
business wise I cannot hate on what
they're doing they're taking an
advantage of an opportunity to monetize
at a high level when people have no idea
how to get t-shirts made whether it's
for a bachelor party or some event your
church your school you know they just
they grab the market with their with
their marketing but they their prices
are insane they're insanely high you can
go to a garage screen printer or a
startup screen printer who does
excellent work and you will save
yourself hundreds of dollars I've worked
with like three clients at least where I
saved them hundreds of dollars on their
quote the same artwork the same t-shirts
but they quoted with custom ink one was
an actual church group like a youth
group or something I'm working on a
client right now
the time this is post dating on
embroidered hoodies saving them at least
$100 on their initial quote and that
adds up for a per-unit cost it's much I
mean if if you're if you're quoting with
custom Inc this is why I say you got a
quote with like four or five screen
printers but don't go with custom ink I
mean you can quote with them maybe you
want to try them out that's fine if you
want to pay more money but you can find
a local screen printer that can do the
same job and save you hundreds of
dollars

conversation have you guys had an
experience with custom ink or your
screen printer there's a lot of horror
stories with screen printers that's why
you got to find two or three of them to
do your production as you're developing
your clothing line yeah it's just like a
chop shop I mean you know these guys can
be very runnin gun so yeah you got a
quote with a couple different people in
the end I would not go with custom ink
and again drop comments below your
experience is in screen printing getting
your t-shirt off the ground drop it down
