How to Press Logos on Sleeves with your Heat Press

sander buddy boy big Brando here today
I'm gonna be answering a question that I
get a lot and it's how do you press a
logo on the sleeve with your heat press
so we have t-shirt here right they want
to put a logo on the sleeve right here
the problem is is this seam down the
middle that's the issue because if it's
laying flat down here it's gonna press
on top of that seam and you won't get a
solid press because that dump scene will
be ruining where you want to put the
logo you know what I mean so what I use
is mousepad oh you could get these from
heat press nation I think they call them
tea pads or tea pad it and it comes in a
big assortment of different size mouse
pads so what you would use this as is a
little platform like you guys see me
press the custom neck tags in you'll do
the same thing here slide that in make
it flat press that sucker on there
because it's gonna be covering up that
seam you wanted it right here but you're
pressing on top of this part it's gonna
make things uneven and it's gonna leave
a little line in the middle kind of dumb
kind of tricky some people use um they
call them heat press pillows which it's
like a little Teflon pillow I think it's
I don't know there's some kind of cotton
in there and it's wrapped in Teflon and
you just stick it in between like over
your zipper on a sweater or different
seams and this and that and it'll kind
of raise up the material take a press
and get a flat even press on top like I
said I use mouse pads and you can just
cut them down like this one was made
feels longer and is made for a long
sleeve shirt
I never press long sleeve shirts so I
cut these down I took this little chunk
out so I could press custom tags in
there but that's all I use so let me
move the camera down show you guys on
the heat press exactly what I'm talking
about I won't be pressing nothing on
this t-shirt because I have no need to
press a sleep it but I just want to
answer this question for a lot of people
that have this question you know they
always hit me up and say I try pressing
on the sleeve but it leaves that line in
the middle I don't know how to get rid
of it and if I don't press where that
line is it's not centered so let me show
you guys how I do
so let's say they wanted to press the
right sleeve if we just did it laid it
down flat like this that would be that
seam down the middle
no if you can see that see there's a
little bump there and that's caused by
this seam back here hopefully this isn't
focusing you can see it this seam right
here will be giving you an issue so what
you'll do is you'll lay down flat like
so but this time you're going to put
your mousepad now it's going to give you
even flat surface to press on so let's
say that the transfer was going to be
right here
you can put that sucker in there it'll
be pressing flat and not on that seam no
more because the mousepad isn't acting
as like a little platform for you to put
your transfer on press it down so once
you bring this down below you get an
even press slide this out take your
transfer off and you'll have a clean
sleeve hit hopefully this makes sense
for a lot of you guys like I said I'd I
never really do it I never really have
sleeve hits when I launch leftovers I
did my put the small little bar logo
here and that's pretty much how I did it
just use this or actually it was this
one
so I just slid it inside here made it
flat pressed it down alright hopefully
that helps you guys out boy big brand Oh
catch you guys on next one if you have
any more questions leave them in the
